Estate Litigation Attorney - New York Office:

Seeking an attorney with 5-7+ years’ experience in estate litigation for our New York office. NY bar is required. Legal Practice Assistant - Maryland Office:

Seeking a a legal practice assistant with 5+ years legal experience to support partners and associates in the areas of Bankruptcy, Corporate and Litigation. Candidates should possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and 3E required; knowledge of IManage, PowerPoint and e-filings a plus.

Litigation Paralegal - New Jersey Office:

Seeking a Litigation Paralegal for our New Jersey Office with 5+ years of law firm litigation paralegal experience. Responsibility for assisting lawyers in all aspects of the Litigation Department’s caseloads, including: the organization and maintenance of court materials; drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and other court documents; preparation of correspondence, memoranda, discovery, and other communications with minimal supervision; management of docket, matter dates, and deadlines; deposition digesting and preparation; and coordination of deposition, hearing, motion and trial preparation. Assist with and coordinate paper and electronic discovery process, including: identifying potentially relevant electronically stored information (“ESI”); draft and issue legal hold notices; coordinate with clients to identify, preserve, and collect relevant sources of ESI and paper discovery; and assist with processing, reviewing, and coding ESI.

Knowledge of and ability to electronically file (CM/ECF) pleadings required. Candidates must be highly organized and possess the ability to prioritize, be a team player, and have excellent written and verbal skills. College degree and/or paralegal certificate required. Strong working knowledge of MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Relativity, and Concordance required. Knowledge of IManage a plus.

Enterprise Applications Engineer New Jersey Office:

Seeking an Enterprise Applications Engineer who is responsible for administration, monitoring and maintenance of the Firm’s Accounting enterprise applications, including, but not limited to, ensuring the stability and availability of the Firm’s Accounting enterprise applications, including, but not limited to, time and billing, conflicts, records, library, human resources, and practice support systems.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support the Firm's Elite 3E platform
  • Serves as the subject matter expert and technical resource for the Firm’s financial system both within the financial group and the IT department by providing expertise on issues of functionality, integration, performance/troubleshooting, design, deployment etc.
  • Administer all other systems in the Firm’s financial platform including various supporting systems in the 3E Elite application and tools including (but not limited to) Paperless Performa, IDE, Design Gallery (EDG), Workspace.
  • Responsible for the administration and support tasks related to the Elite 3E system. This can include but is not limited to:
    • Scheduled month-end maintenance
    • Upgrades to 3E, Workspace, and other related software systems
    • Coordinate with database and application administrators on projects which are related to the financial system
    • Responsible for development deliverables of Elite 3E customizations (forms, inquiries, reports, metrics, etc.) with quality and consistent integration between key financial applications and Document customization solutions.
    • Analyze and work with the Financial team users and IT team on the impact of vendor software upgrades
    • Coordinates with both the Accounting and IT team, to prioritize and address issues and objectives for financial systems
    • Responsible for testing financial system applications during system changes, enhancements, upgrades and monthly system maintenance, as well as, documentation of system integrations, backup and disaster recovery processes
    • Project Management - create, track and update all Elite 3E customization and new project tasks.
    • Work closely with the Accounting team to deliver strategic projects
    • Informs the department and management in a timely manner of project status, issues and proposed resolutions.
    • Manage vendor support tickets
    • Track and optimize system performance and storage utilization, plan for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth
    • Research and evaluate new technologies to improve current application processes.
    • Utilize tools to protect application source code, and maintain versioning.
    • Any additional responsibilities as required by management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 3+ years’ experience operating with legal accounting and time management software required, experience with Elite 3E preferred
  • Experience with maintaining Proforma Tracker, 3E Templates, 3E Workspace and BizTalk.
  • Proficiency in Elite Application Framework and Tools, including the IDE, Design Gallery (EDG)
  • Experience administering Windows Server
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Application installation and configuration experience
  • Fluency in the Elite 3E SQL database schema preferred or demonstrated ability to develop such fluency
  • Ability to learn general functional and technical aspects of the firm’s Accounting applications and associated integrations such as ADP, Foundations, Concur and other integrated systems as needed
  • Ability to act as a Project Manager for Accounting projects whenever required
  • Solid technical foundation with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex problems and implement solutions with minimal guidance
  • Self-motivated person with excellent time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate with staff of varying technical expertise
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration
  • Proficiency Reports/Templates development
  • Proficiency in XML/XSLT transformation
  • Knowledge of C# and Visual Basic .Net programming

 Non-essential Functions:

  • Responsible for communication, coordination and back up of other members of the Information Technology Department as required to service the firm and its clients.
  • Exempt position, expected to work additional hours, weekends and holidays, as required in performance of duties.
  • This position is considered essential to the function of the firm. Therefore, attendance during firm administrative leave and closings may be required.
  • Perform such other and/or additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Support and monitor firm policies and procedures as pertains to the Information Technology Department

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in management, design, and implementation of large enterprise applications in a heterogeneous operating system environment with hands-on experience in maintaining mission critical enterprise applications at a high level of availability.
  • Requires broad knowledge of the specialized and technical field of computer science, and business/management acumen equivalent to a complete college or university education; includes thorough skills knowledge.
  • 4-year college degree preferred, equivalent experience considered.

Technical Skills & Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the management, design and implementation of Windows computer systems. Experience administering and maintaining Microsoft SQL and MS Active Directory is desirable. Experience with iManage document management administration, Thomson Reuters 3e Accounting management systems and Foundations system administration preferred. Proven experience supporting large number (300 or more) of end users.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) preferred, but not required.
